The idea of tactile sculpture was born from the concern of sharing and from the study of culture and senses. The sculpture as a three-dimensional object serves not only to lead to a contemplative activity but it’s also an object of empirical knowledge, giving its touchable nature. And provideing the perception of form, texture and temperature to those who don’t have the sense of sight, but also to those who want to experience the sense of touch as a complement to the visual information. This is a journey in which I am engaged now and that excites me.
